Are high school students allowed to wear backpacks/oversized handbags/messenger bags to thier classes or do to they have to keep them in their lockers and only take their books to class?

How much can a Coach backpack hold? Coach makes purse backpacks that are smaller. The measurements of the bag I am inquiring about are 9 3/4 x 15 3/8 x 7 1/2. Is it a big enough bag to use as an overnight bag? What can you carry in yours? Is it a decent bag to carry on board a plane?
I wouldn’t take it on a plane. It has to go through security or get checked. it can get lost or messed up. I wouldn’t advise you to take it.
