  4. farmfanugan says:

    if the output power …
if the output power of the laser was equal to the size of the host then you would probably have a 1.5W laser. :D

It is focusable and yes the dot gets bigger when farther away. What are you tryingto say?

  17. megasword33 says:

    Since the module is …
Since the module is focusable, won’t the dot get larger as you move away? Otherwise, what is the point of having it be focusable?

Use a Dorcy Jr flashlight, it has a great driver already built int. Its the only one I know of that includes one.

oh ok. I ordered the sony dvd diode and now I am looking for a flashlight with a driver in it.

  20. phazonxl says:

    Its not 6 volts. …
Its not 6 volts. There is hidden circuitry inside. Operating off of 9.6 volt RC car battery pack. Then there is a voltage/current regulating circuit inside it. There is no 6 volt battery.

If you make a laser, never make a minimag. People hook it right to batteries which will blow it out!

This is more advanced then one would think at first.

  21. sidewalk4004 says:

    how did you not …
how did you not blow out the diode with 6 volts?
