Hello well here is my question I have an interview at a woman’s and children homeless shelter tomorrow for a receptionist. The lady called me fri evening and because of the holiday rush and family gathering i could not get out to make a long story short I am going crazy trying to find something to wear that will look presentable. Will this work I do have dress slacks black and shoes now will a brown dress jacket look well with a button down blue dress shirt or will I look like I just came from the circus.. That sounds perfectly appropriate to me, but remember this: It’s what’s in your head and your heart that matters more than what you wear or what you look like. Anyone having to endure a homeless shelter is in need of gentle compassion, and that would be so important in that position.

All you have to bring is yourself dear! They will love you for showing up. Don’t cry too much when your working there, the children will just break your heart. Just show them love.

you should just wear something appropriate and casual
I don’t think you need to be so nervous
I had an interview for a volunteer job before
I was soo nervous during it but the lady who interviewed me
was really nice and I learned to be less tense
To sum this up: Go out there, be yourself
I am certain you will do well
