A Marital Situation
(Painted from memory)

Once again, my love, my dear,
you’ve gone away and left me here

and taken both our sets of keys.
Now you’re as free as the summer breeze

but I am stuck; I have no way
to make it through my hectic day.

Please check the hook upon the wall,
your purse, your pockets, check them all

and do me this one favor, please –
leave me, please, one set of keys!

Quite the droll piece… most enjoyable. I know you have a fine musical ear, so lose the first "as" in line 4 and your meter is perfect, without sacrificing anything in terms of comprehensibility or comedic effect. A nice, easy-breezy piece of poetry to lend light to the day… thanks for that.

I like it…..not done that lately, since we do so much together.

    But,
I would be lost without my spouse
As I lose everything round the house.
    And he always searches unhesitatingly
and cheerfully finds it and brings it to me.
    But, when I’m saying
    ‘Have you seen my *keys?’
    He will inevitably (annoyingly) ask
    ‘Where did you
    see them last?’
    If I knew that,
    they wouldn’t be misplaced
(Apart from that I think he’s ace).

    *pen, glasses, scissors, sewing thread,
iPod, mobile phone, cup of coffee, …..teeth

I have experienced this, and I know the feeling! You seem to have accomplished meter well. Hard to do, very hard. I really enjoyed this, felt as free as the breeze as I read it. :)

this one ASpromised dave SILLIEST ME DO 4GIVE ME

SILLIEST ME ::::::: A MARTIAL SITUATION

As usual my nightingale you have flown,
And once again have left me alone
And you hope to think I shall not mind,
Even if you do ever me,leave behind.
But I am desperate,in your love my dear one,
You have left when the fun has just begun.
No you cannot leave me forlorn,
I know you will be back once I’ve gone.
Come back my love I cannot find my way,
Without you tell me, where and how, will I stay?

    ONE MORE 4 SOMEONES REQUEST

    DESPAIR

    DESPAIR

Despair not dear Angel, birth is an agony,

Everyone has to fend for oneself in harmony.

Surf not the seas, for tides of disaster,

    Periodically ride at ease,for life’s a search,

Away to fight the calamity hidden beneath,

In the depths of human heart and soul,

Remember making each one happy, should be our role.

    Come do not despair,
    I’ve written it as,acrostic,
Do pass comments, but not as caustic,
As the one who wrote and assessed my last one,
A lenghty one at that did she snap,
she in despair,i think, called it crap.
I cannot find what I wrote then,
As the same has got lost,in the Internet mayhem,
But I hope now that you will,
In despair read this one you, stll.
